The song "Fly With Me" from the Animated Feature "Manou the Swift" (Manou - flieg' flink!) has been awarded the Crystal Pine Award at this year's International Sound and Film Music Festival (ISFMF).

The film song thus wins the category "Best Original Song" at the ISFMF. Cassandra Steen (Glashaus) sings the song "Fly With Me" (lyrics: Andrea Block), which the protagonist Kalifa sings in the film "Manou the Swift" (Manou - flieg' flink!). As a part of the voice cast she also lends Kalifa her voice throughout the entire Animated Film.

The orchestral part of the song was performed by the Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz under the direction of Joris Bartsch-Buhle, as was most of the rest of the film score.

Film score of Manou nominated in additional category

In addition, Manou's complete film score was also nominated for the "Crystal Pine Award" in the category "Best Original Score, Feature". Much of the film score is available to stream on SoundCloud.

Other nominees included Volker Bertelmann (Hauschka) for his music for "Hotel Mumbai", Alberto Iglesias for "Pain and Glory", Nathan Johnson for "Knives Out" and Gabriel Yared for "Judy".

Many thanks to the board of the ISFMF, we are very happy about the award and the nomination!
