The SWR series "Das kleine 1x1 der Artenkunde" is entering a new round. A total of four new episodes bring children closer to the differences in the animal world: "Der Karpfen ist kein Barsch", "Die Hornisse, die keine ist", "Die Spitzmaus ist keine Maus" and "Das Reh ist nicht die Frau vom Hirsch".
The film music takes up the themes and musical aesthetics that were already established in the first episode. Again, there are a lot of guitars to be heard, but also uptempo cues, idyllic music, musical winks - and sometimes there are excursions into orchestral realms.
In the new episodes, too, the sound level was completely redesigned from the ground up. Every step, wing beat, every atmosphere and everything else that can be heard apart from the music was deliberately created and designed to clarify differences in living spaces so that they can be clearly distinguished acoustically.
