The new SWR series "Das kleine 1x1 der Artenkunde" explains the differences and peculiarities of different animal species in a sympathetic way.
In the first episode "The salamander is not a lizard" we learn exactly that: the differences between salamanders and lizards - and a whole lot of other details from these animal families.
As the musical theme of the series, a song was composed and produced for the opening credits, which supports the lyrics by director Dirk Neumann with speed and energy. The film score, on the other hand, is rather reserved overall, in order to be able to give the sounds of nature the main acoustic role.
The sound of the film is completely recreated from scratch. In this way it is possible to optimally design and differentiate the different living spaces acoustically: lush, moist forest areas are contrasted with dry, sunny stone slopes or underwater atmospheres. Dynamic sound FX round off the sound level by acoustically supporting the graphics or visual effects.
