The movie contains some extreme slow motion and fast motion sequences to make it possible to see also those processes, which would normally, because of their speed, be imperceptible for the human eye. Since these scenes obviously have no recorded original sound, there was plenty of room to create a detailed sound design, so that for example the images of the high speed cameras from the core of the mill are also given a distinctive sound.
The film score is energetic most of the time and consists of several musical themes and styles, mainly corresponding with particular storylines. Thereby the music covers a wide range from folk, pop, rock right up to classical cues.
